I won a USA Harvest contest which involves simply this. You collect canned food and this was for the Goo Goo Dolls, whoever brings the most food, wins a meet and greet with the band. They have 2 street team members that co ordinate with the local shelter for whatever city they are in. I wish Rob would consider doing this for his tour and instead of people food, do dog and cat food. Think of the $ that could be saved on food and then used for meds to help save animals....just sayin... Love and Peace~ Cheryl Ann p.s. besides getting the fans involved it makes people aware. I was so into this coz after hurricane katrina we were without food for a few days, finding food in plastic wrappers and then finally breaking into a neighbors home and eating from a jar of peanut butter and found some crackers, smeared with finger, but it was food...I know how it is to not have food.
