The Pets Alive Tail Wagger Dog Walk is the first ever event of it's kind for Pets Alive! This leisurely 1/2 mile walk around the lake at Circleville Park is sure to be a doggone good time. Funds raised at the Tail Wagger will support the mission of Pets Alive: to improve the lives of companion animals everywhere by any means possible, including rescue, adoption, advocacy, collaboration, intervention and education.
Come for the walk in a beautiful location and plan to stay for the fun activities we have planned. There will also be area vendors on site so be sure to visit them as well.
You don't need to bring a dog to walk with us!
Can't join us at the Tail Wagger? You can still help the animals of Pets Alive by making a donation in honor the Grand Marshall, Robert. Robert was pulled from NYC Animal Care and Control in March and was in horrible, life threatening condition, with no control of his hind end; he was scheduled to be euthanized on the morning that we rescued him. We quickly rushed him in to a critical care vet where, after a number of tests, he underwent spinal surgery. Today, after months of care and therapy at Pets Alive, he is thriving, even beginning to regain movement in hind legs and is being adopted into a loving home.
