PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL OUR PAID POSITIONS ARE CURRENTLY FILLED.

We do however have a volunteer position available. If you are interested please email info@petsalive.com
We are trying to find someone that can do some or all of the following things in an on-going basis for/with us.
  1. Walk around here, SEE what needs to be done, list those things, develop a project "plan" (such as what needs to be done, how many people, how much money or donations) and get volunteers to step up and get those projects done.
  2. Keep a database or list of volunteers - what they are good at, what they can do and include their contact information so if we need something specific I can go to you, you can pull up the list, contact those people and see if you can get them down here to get those things done - it might be as simple as running to Sam's Club to pick up some cat litter - or something like that. It could be something more like getting a group of people to paint fences or a plumber to repair a toilet etc.
  3. Manage and coordinate our events. We have a big adoption event coming up. It would be great if I could tell you the date, when we have to be there and how many animals are going and you arrange and coordinate the details.
  4. Develop a volunteer incentive program. Depending on number of hours we can give them things with our logo on it, or a night out for dinner - or something as an incentive.
  5. Handling the volunteer appreciation - similar to above but just generally thanking them, letting them know how very appreciated they are on a regular basis.
  6. Handle volunteer orientation when you are onsite - if volunteers show up, walk them through the process and how and where to do things.
  7. When we have things are are being done, to appeal to local businesses and corporations to DONATE the items needed.
