The Twelve Strays of Christmas – Valentina

Valentina – February 2017

February 2017. A lonely dog wandering alongside a road in Sullivan County on a cold and snowy afternoon. Every rib protruding, her backbone showing, small wounds on her face. And yet, a will to live in her eyes and hope in the wag of her tail. Starved not only of food but for attention, this is how we welcomed sweet Valentina into the Pets Alive family.

Fast forward to today and Valentina is fully healed, a healthy weight, has an amazing love for life, and so much love to give. We would LOVE to find this girl her forever home for the holidays. She has had such a rough start in life. She deserves to know the love of a family and have a home to call her own for forever. A few requirements: She would do best as an only pet in the household, and preferably no small children, as she can get a little overexuberant when she is playing. Other than that? She just needs someone who is going to love her unconditionally and show her all the good in this world. And she certainly would appreciate someone who will buy her all of her favorite toys!

Valentina – Today!

Help Valentina, one of our 12 Strays of Christmas, find her happily ever after this holiday season. Can’t adopt at this time? Share her story.

Please donate to Pets Alive so we can continue to provide a safe landing spot and loving environment for strays in need. A donation today to our GENERAL ANIMAL CARE FUND will receive a matching donation towards our KENNEL BUILDING PROJECT thanks to our very special supporters Joe and Kelly Sicari.
